kidney transplants

hi,

Am male 34yrs, my first kidney transplanted at the age of 27yrs, but after two years transplanted kidney failed due to infections, and again i went for transplant @ 29yrs age, now am feel well, but now am intake medicines are 1.nerol -50mg twice a  day 2.cellcept-500mg twice a day 3.nicardia-10mg twice a day, 4.omnicortal-5mg single dose,my doctor is not reduce the dosage from last 9 months onwards, my creatitine level is 1.3, B.urea- 17mg, i want to know  , why doctor is not reducing dosage of medicines.

Are they  treating you  for   hep ?   I  think  there  might  be  some  drugs  they  might  be  able  to  give  you  for  that.   If  you  go to  an  endocronologist  for that, make sure  they  know about your  transplant  when  giving you meds.

Thank u for ur reply, as well as, i consulted my doctor, my cretatine level is good from last 9 months, and after diagnose my blood, they found that, i have Hepatitis B,and C, so my medicines dosages are not reduced. and  still am unmarried, if  i will marry, my sex life wll go smooth? plz reply.

Unfortunately  we  can't  answer  that  for you.  That  is  a question you  must  ask your  Dr.              Each  Tx center has  it's  own  protocol,  and  they  base  each  patient's  dose  on  blood  tests  drug  levels  found  on  each  test.

Have you  asked  them  about your  concern?
Has  your  creatinine  remained  stable  in the  last  9 months?  what's  the  lowest it's  been?

I  would  inquire  about  this, they  must  have  a good  explanation  for  not   reducing the  drugs.
