lower right flank pain

hey, I have been having lower right Flank pain for about 1 month now, it is steady and aching. I had a urinalasis that came back inconclusive although there was a small amount of blood in it. I also feel  a burning sensation when I urinate, along with days where I have bouts of frequent urination. My doctor thought that it was kidney stones and gave me an antibiotic witch did nothing for me. And so the aching continues and I am concerned that it could be something else.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,

I suggest that you discuss with your physician if an abdominal CT scan may be requested.A significant amount of blood in the urine may require further evaluation. The flank pain may be due to an infection or a kidney disease. It is best to have a scan done to visualize the structures involved.A 24 hour urine collection as well as kidney function tests may be able to help.
