severe pain

Hi. I have been having severe pain in the lower right side of my back and the lower right side of my stomach. it started about three or four days ago and it just seems to be gettin worse. no matter what i do it hurts. Today i have done really nothing but sleep. and for the past three days the pain has been so bad that it makes me feel sick, i cant even eat. what coukd it be? how can i make it stop?

i went to the er and they told me that it was a kidney infection...thank you for all of your help and support.

It sounds like a kidney stone the symptoms of one.You need to go to er or dr to make sure with a urine or by cat scan or x-ray they will help you there

i go to the resroom alot more that usual. the color hasnt changed, i have also been runnin mid to high grade fevers. and i have also benn nausous an vomiting.

Could be your appendix but is more likely a kidney stone.  I have had about half a dozen of them in the last year.  The last one got stuck and I had to have it removed surgically.  I would go to the ER or see your doctor right away to make sure it is not your appendix and to get some meds for it.  Many doctors are now giving Flomax for kidney stones in addition to the other medications they have been prescribing.  This helps open the ureters to help the stone get through easier.

You have a kidney stone the pain can be very pain that last until the stone passes it can cause pain in back hip to stomach (lower) and in the groin.Is there any change in your urine color flow or how often you go?That can also be a sign of a stone. I would go to er the can get stuck and cause more problem,
