Thanks for the input. Last week I noticed a small lump on the side of my neck. I asked my Dr. about it the next day and he said it might be a lymph node and to keep an eye on it.
If it were Lymphoma I wouldn't feel soreness or pain in neck, right? It's not so much joint pain as it is more like muscular. It's weird that I didn't notice the lump before, because with my neck giving me problems I have been rubbing it a lot.
Probably the main symptom of lymphoma is painless swelling of the glands or lymphnodes- in the neck, armpit, or groin. However swollen glands can be the cause of something more common such as an injury or and infection. If a gland appears hard and not movable then it's time to see a doctor. Other symptoms include weight loss, severe itching, fever, and drenching night sweats. I personally I have never seen lymphoma associated with back or neck pain. You may want to consider visiting a chiropractor for neck and spine adjustments- it's very painless and can be very effective.
If you don't feel right, I would definatly follow up with a doctor. They will do a basic exam- and if they feel necessary, some blood work. Especially go if you have any of the symptoms I listed above. Wishing you all the best!
