I really need every1's help please...

I'm really freaking out and the obvious solution would be to go to a doctor but insurance is a problem and I don't have that option. That was  $250 for him to tell me he didn't feel anything.

Back in late may early june I thought I felt something went to doctor and he said he didn't feel anything. What I thought I felt hasn't grown and is movable. Movable as in I can grab it and move it somewhat between my fingers. It almost feels bean shaped. I used to suffer from really bad allergies where at least once a week I would have sneezing attacks for 24 hrs. Could this be a result from 3 yrs of bad weekly allergy attacks? Also since finding it not one lymphoma symptom has occured. I really hope I can get as much info as I can from any1 out there.

This is a submandibular node...they are under your jaw. And it is common for them to be bean shaped and they can usually be felt. In some people...you can only feel them on one side unless you press the floor of the mouth to expose the other side. If it is "bean shaped", has not grown in size, and is moveable, then you should be ok. Here is what I would encourage you to do. Find someone that you trust--a chile, a friend, a relative. Then ask them to bend their head forward while you feel for their subamandibular nodes. 90% of the time you will find one. Finally, these nodes are directly associated with chronic sinus infections. Hope this helps.

this "lump" im feeling is under my jaw towards the right side. if i relax my whole neck, not even moving my tongue down ( if that makes sence), i cant feel it. i more feel it when i push my tongue up against the back of my bottom teeth. i know this may not make any sense but thats the only way i can describe it.

im not sure how long its been there but i did notice it for the first time in late may, early june. and since discovering it, it hasnt gotten bigger. and yes i can actually grab it and roll it between my fingers. not alot but it is movable. i've read if this is a lymph node thats a good sign if it moves. is this the case?

Hi jo_e914,

You didn't mention where you feel this bean shaped lump.  It kind of sounds like a lymph node since lymph nodes are somewhat bean shaped.  It's strange that you can actually grab it but the doctor said he could feel it.  How long have you had this?  Has it changed in size or shape since you discovered it?

I know you don't have insurance, but have you looked into getting on state assistance?  It's most likely not lymphoma, but it would probably be a good idea to have it looked at again, maybe even by a different doctor.
