Bilirubin Total,Serum count

My Bilirubin count is 1.5mg/dl on a recent check-up. So the Dr told me to reduce the atorvastatin intake of 10 mg on alternate days rather then daily. But I have lipid profile as given: TC:158MG/DL,TGL:100MG/DL,HDL:43MG/DL,LDL:95MG/DL.
My question is that I have fairly good lipid profile by regular use of station along with strict exercises,So is it a so important factor affecting my health this bilirubin increase or can I ignore the same and concentrate on keeping the lipid profile in the same way? Please advice

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi, your lipid profile has improved. And since the medication has caused elevation of serum bilirubin, your doctor has changed the dosage. Now, you can focus on controlling the lipids with lifestyle measures and the adjusted medication dose. And when you follow up with your doctor you will know if with lifestyle measures and the reduced dosage your lipid profile is adequately controlled or not. For now follow the altered dosage. Regards.
