hi,

After diagnosis LFT,   SGPT came to 80 units/litre but S.Bilurubin is normal.... and Serum Globulin came to 3.8gm/dl which is high.. as i am facing a problem with red eyes and itchy.  I take regularly alocohol but not much one to two beer... after taking alcohol my eyes get itchy and red. can you please tell me, because of taking alcohol my eyes are red. As SGOT is normal to 40 units/litre... i am facing problem in winter... Is this kind of alergy or liver damage. after concern of eye doctor, he just prescribing allergy eye drops.

FNTN has given you excellent advice.  Is it possible you are allergic to beer?  Just a thought since your eyes get red and itchy
Good luck

Your eyes would likely be affected by alcohol only if dehydration became an issue, too much alcohol and too little water. But I would guess it is likely due to allergies, as your doctor prescribed.

Your Globulin and ALT levels are only mildly elevated. Your doctor will be able to tell you if your alcohol consumption is too much. The body's tolerance for alcohol will vary from person to person.
