thank u both, i told her what u's both said.about the colon removed she has been told that in one of her exploritorys that they had a good look at it and its fine.she has had her gall blader taken out.and had 3 exploritorys and some dr have told her its all in her head, witch i find very hard to be true because ive lived with her and seen what its like for her theres no way thats in her head. as for hospitals she goes to ipswich (sorry not shore of spelling) but she has been seeing just her noral dr most times because its just to far to travel all the time and she cant drive with out somone there to take over when shes in to much pain or some one just to drive her there.they have told her they ruled out scare tissue.

I had the same exact symptoms and had diverticulitis.  Part of my colon had to be removed and I am better now.  What hospital is her doctor at.

Gall bladder? That can go undiagnosed for a long time, but since the pain is on the left... hmmm....

The diagnosis of IBS (that's the term you were looking for) can explain some of those symptoms. Have they ruled out Chrone's disease? I know that's a painful bowel problem.

Blessings for your aunty!
