i have stage 4 cirriosis of liver, enlarged spleen, very low blood platlets.0% wbc,plus arthritis, i am in pain i bleed when i use restroom thats painful too, i am always cold why? i wish i knew but iam getting tired of it,just had a operation for removal of warthins tumor , can't feel my left ear but the sight is swollen.i take two kinds of morphine and its not working the pain is worst what can i  do? jr 1963

hi! how are you. i pray your doing better from your allergies. as for me i'm ok. went to my arthritis dr. gave a shot of scynvic ?on each knee let me tell you that was not fun. dr was worried cause i would not stop bleeding from wher he poked me it would just squirt out from both knees like a leak from a water balloon. had do bloodwork.then again .they found something but they won't say. we'll see, a close friend of mind since 1st grade just passed lastnite from liver failure,keep i ntouch my prayers go to you  jr

Hi,
Good to hear you are still hanging in there.  Are you on a transplant list or?  I can't comprehend the pain you  must feel because I know you have so many different issues going on at the same time but am sure you will pull thru each one with God's help.
I am doing fine myself, just allergy time & boy those always kinda knock me for a loop & nothing I can take for it except to go to allergist & find what is causing it & take shots which I don't feel like doing
Hope you feel good enough to get together with Jack when he hits town.  Would be good for you if possible.

whats up? i pray your doing good, as for me welli'm getting steroid shot to the joints,dr wants to inject me with some kind of gel like substance to my knees.from the surgery i had blood builds up like into a ball then oozes out from where the cut me, dr says it caause my platlets being low. i never been to kon tiki. i heard its ok ,how have you been feeling my friend keep in touch may godbless you. jr

Hang in there chief!  If you feel up to it, we can go to KonTiki when I hit Tucson (just no booze for me - but a virgin polynesian cocktail sounds nice about now)...

If all else fails pain ctrl wise, a neurosurgeon may consider severing pain receptor sites...thats quite extreme, but theres no need to suffer. If no one else (or nothing else) seems to be able to get at the root of this pain, a neurologist may be the one to consult
