What can we expect for my grandmother?

So my mema is almost 80. About two years ago she fell off of a ladder and broke her leg (above the knee). Before that she did everthing for herself. In the past year we had trouble with her not eating, being, depressed, and diarrhea. She went to the hospital for stomach pain and they told her it was gas. A few months later her belly swelled up like she was pregnant. But she didn't want to go to the hospital and ruin everyone's Christmas. So after fighting with her on it a few weeks she went. They told her she has end stage liver cirrhosis. Earth shattering! Theres nothing they can do for her they said. She also has heart problems on top of that.

So no she barely eats. Yesterday she had a coke and a cracker. This woman is the nicest, giving, god fearing, patient woman I know. Can anyone tell me if they have had a similar situation? What should I expect. They said 1-3 years but I just don't know anymore....
