Since my interpretation of what your doctor said could be faulty---- I assume your doctor means it will show IgM and IgG results.
Those distinctions are supposed to be able to discern whether it's a new infection (IgM) or an old one (IgG).
However, I'm not too enthralled with those findings having seen (in my own tests) contrary findings---- plus a myriad of other patients with the same thoughts.
You will of course have to go by what your doctor tells you.
so 80% accurate? She says it will show how long I have had it and everything so idk if its just a normal western blot or not
"Based on the data that we have collected to date, this panel will detect about 80% (sensitivity) of all Lyme patients. The overall specificity of this panel is greater than 95%."

Did your Lyme doc order a PCR test, or only Western blot?
ELISA and Western blot tests rely on your immune system's reaction to the presence of Lyme bacteria, but the Lyme bugs are able to suppress the immune system so that it does not react as it should in the presence of an infection. As a result, the test may come back negative when you are infected.
The PCR test looks for direct evidence of Lyme, that being the DNA of the Lyme bacteria. If your Lyme doc is using IGeneX for W.blot, then s/he doesn't seem to have anything against IGeneX, as some docs do.
There is always a chance of error but I think IgeneX is the most accurate place for Lyme related illnesses testing.
However a friend of mine, took 4 tries before she got a positive Babesia test at Igenex. It took me 2 times. It was explained to me as depending how the bugs were presenting themselves at the time of the test.
Was your inaccurate ELISA at Igenex?
Herxing is actually a good thing. It means the bugs are being killed and the toxins from their death are going through your system.
