All mixed up

i was finally diagnosed with lyme disease almost 2 years ago now after thinking  i was dieing for alsmost 6 years.  I have been doning great! headaches decreased, joint pain, decreased, fatigue greatly improved, and rashes almost gone.  My new problem now is that i have ?tumors? in my right femur that started hurting before i was diagnoses and comes and goes. it stopped hurting for almost 6months and started again about 3 weeks ago.  i also had a bout of right hand and left ankle swelling for 3 days.  so bad that i could not grip with the hand.  pain was in both wrists and down the ring fingers.  they sent me for blood tests and everything was normal, but a positive ANA screen.  My fatigue has come back (not as bad), headaches occuring closer together, hair is falling out all the time like i am shedding.  i am cold ALL the time!!!.  can i have a relapse of lyme or coudl something elese be happening.  it is like everything is happening again and i thought i was finally over all that i had been through!!! please give me some ideas.

thanks

Unfortunately, relapses are very common. Late-stage Lyme is a chronic disease, which means the bacteria cannot be totally eradicated. Some people can go into "remission" for 1 year, 5 years, even 10 years or more. But if a very stressful event occurs, like a car accident, a divorce, an illness, etc., then they can relapse. They will also relapse if they don't treat their bodies right (not enough sleep, poor diet, too much alcohol, no exercise, too much stress...)

You should seek the help of a LLMD again...

Good luck,

Dora
