Any good natural detox to flush out the dead critters?
Theres a bazillion herbs to detox with, has anyone had much with easing the herx reaction getting the debris out faster?
Just a thought, since my brain wont shut off right now, I might as well try using it LOL.
2 1/2 wks on 3 antibiotics, 4 months cats claw, 5 months immune support supplements. Skipped the antibiotics 1 day last week and felt better that afternoon and night, coincidence? - I dont know how quick they "water down" in the body. 2 lymph noeds on my lower neck were at an all-time swelling, and just finally reduced, that was weird. Not much info on Lyme and the Lymphonic system.

It's not an herb but one of my LLMD's Rx-ed cholestyramine and it helped me tolerate antibiotics a lot and got rid of the horrible toxic feeling I got during treatment. I only used it later in my treatment, so I have no idea if it would have helped much early on.

It is usually used to control the symptoms of a herx and help keep the body alkaline. It is also very effective for headaches, especially migraines.
One word of caution is that it has bicarbonate in it. It you rely on it on a regular basis it will destroy your stomach acid, as that is essentially what it is, an antacid.
"Active Ingredients: Each tablet contains:: Sodium Bicarbonate (958 mg (Heat Treated)), Citric Acid (832mg), Potassium Bicarbonate (312 mg)
Inactive Ingredients: Magnesium Stearate, Mannitol"
Fresh lemon juice in water or powdered vitamin C in water may be better, if you need to use it frequently. Lemons are alkalizing, too.

Alka Seltzer Gold is the "in" detox method since Dr Horowitz's book just came out with it mentioned inside. I prefer activated charcoal capsules.
