I don't really have any detoxing supplement.
I have some kind of intolerance to chlorella, it made me feel indescribably ill when I took it.
I don't know what else to try. Other than vit B12...??
So sorry you're feeling so yucky. I know the feeling well and it's awful. Sounds like more herxing to me, too. I've had similar bouts of regression where I just feel terrible and am out of commission for a couple or a few days. Drives my husband crazy as I'm completely unreliable. How I was yesterday means little to nothing for how I'll feel today.
It could be that a big biofilm busted open and you had a flood of bacteria. I am regularly having similar "feel yucky" episodes with my biofilm buster. When I feel really bad, my doc has said to back off on meds and supplements that work against the bacteria for a few days to let my system catch up. (I'd ask the doc first on that idea.)
Do you have any chlorella or other detoxing supplement you can take?
I am sorry you are feeling bad. In my non medical opinion, it sounds like it could be a herx. I have had similar experiences where its not like a regular herx, but you just feel like crud. My LLMD says, its a die off of the bugs and depending on how much toxins are left in your system, it could be a different type of herx then you are use to.
If you are still concerned, call your LLMD to be sure and please feel better soon!
@youve,
Oof----- I'm sorry that you're feeling so bad. Have you been able to talk to your doctor about this? That would be best, I think, because what you're feeling 'might' be something entirely not Lyme. (It's hard to remember that not everything is Lyme!)
It could be a herx--- maybe. But usually a true herx is apt to occur at the start of an antibiotic. That's just the definition and may not actually be what truly goes on.
I'm not making light of your condition/fear but here's what I used to do when I was very ill and lived on a very remote ranch when everyone else on the ranch had to be gone for days or a week or more. (I mean REMOTE!)
I did some simple things to assure me that I wasn't going to die soon (!) and didn't want to call the MedVac helicopter. (!)
I took my temp.
I took my blood pressure
I assessed my heart rate.
I looked for signs of jaundice (don't ask me why!)
Those are things that the ER will do first. I thought I'd just save them the trouble. :)
Back to you------ I truly can't imagine what is happening in your case. A trip to the ER 'might' be necessary. Or an Urgent Care clinic, if there's one near you.
In the meantime, please keep posting here. It's a valuable way to keep your feet on the ground while you're going through this. Many's the day when 'we' (Lyme community) kept talking and talking someone through their fears, founded or otherwise. It helps.
But a talk with your doctor should be attempted. If you're having a herx sometimes the doctor can help you with that.
About the biofilms---- I know almost nothing about them and I'm still reading everything I can about them (including Dr A. MacDonalds posts).
BTW I didn't mean dear getting this again, I meant dread!!!
