For awhile, I didn't believe I saw either a tick or a rash. But as soon as I saw a picture on an Australian dermatologist's website showing a typical rash of an Australian Lyme patient, I realized I did indeed have a rash. There was no clearing in the middle. It looked like a 3 inch round sunburn on the back of my calf...with a little "scab" in the middle. I remember wondering, "How in the world did I do that?" Hah! I shudder now, to realize what it was. It was short lived and I forgot about it.
But I haven't seen a rash since.
I have red marks or patches all over my breasts, so I don't know if you would consider them a rash but they are ugly to me and they have been there for 18 mos.
No, in 28 years I've only ever had one rash from Lyme. It was when I first got bitten, it was tiny, a ring less than an inch across.
