I'm still not sure (my fault, maybe) if you only took doxy for 10 days or if you finished it 10 days ago
"hello cave76 i have finished my medications only 10 days"
But going under the assumption that you took doxy for ONLY 10 days----- then if it were me I'd be more concerned with the fact that I was under-treated. (Unless you started doxy within a few days of being bitten)
I am on Doxycycline now. The pharmaceutical handout given with this drug states: “Take the medicine 2-3 hours before or after taking in any dairy products.” If you adhere to these instructions then you can drink milk, eat yogurt, ice cream, etc. Absolutely do not take Doxycycline with milk because the medication may not work as well. The only other instruction that is a must to know is take Doxycycline at least one hour before or two hours after a meal. I’m an RN so you can trust what I’m telling you. Also, when you’re on Doxycycline you can sunburn much easier so if you go out in the sun wear protective sunscreen
Research about Doxycycline and Lyme before you start taking it. Read about Stevia and silver as well.
You need to avoid other foods rich in calcium too, it's the calcium that blocks absorption.
