Fever due to Fatigue

Hi,I regularly do physical workout like running,lightweight,yoga etc.I get the fever every 4-5 months.In the recent case i found that fever was due to fatigue.In the starting of fever,i was under impression that it was due to cold or weather change but when a good doctor examined it and gave me vitamin c tablets,i got well.When I started taking these medicines,i found that there was suddenly blood circulation starting in my body specially legs with some sweet pain.However i felt no pain during the fever before this vitamin treatment.

   So could you please help to understand all this situation.Should i continue exercise.If yes how without this fatigue and fever.Should I continue supplemantary vitamin C intake.

You definetly sound like you have a relapsing fever illness. Fatigue does not cause a fever, but fatigue often accompanies a fever.  Both are signs that the immune system is trying to fight off an infection.

Vitamin C is critical for good immune support, so perhaps the Vitamin C supplement helps your immune system get control again over whatever infection is causing the fever.  But since it keeps coming back, it sounds like you need to treat it with some antibiotics. (I am not a doctor, just a patient who has read a lot.)

There is a tick-borne Relapsing fever caused by Borreliosis in India, but I don't know anything about it.  I encourage you to do some research and then go back to your doctor.  Try Googling "relapsing fever India" or some variation like that to see what you find.

I'm sorry you're having pains and fevers but are you sure you're in the right forum? This forum is for people who suspect or have Lyme disease.

Do you suspect you have Lyme disease? One aspect of your account is a recurrent fever------ and that MIGHT be caused by a tick borne infection that causes a relapsing fever.

I hope you can find a doctor who can help you.
