Bouncing headaches and nausea, could it be herx symptoms?

Hi,

Have chronic lyme, undiagnosed but doc agrees that i probably had it. He uses past tense, I don't.

Been self treating with cats claw 500mg a day.

Started okay but now having throbbing headaches and feeling sick and dizzy regularly, could this be herx symptoms?

Also have possible u.t.i which I'm also treating with cats claw.

Thanks.

Yvonne x

I have had Herx reactions from cat's claw, and what you describe could fall under that heading.  I do think that cat's claw can help with Lyme treatment.

But what struck me is that you say you are also taking cat's claw for a UTI.  I have not heard of it being used in that way and have concerns about it's efficacy in treating UTI's.  Are you under a doctor's care?  Just worried that the possible UTI could fail to improve from treating with cat's claw.

Hi Yvonne ... I've been taking Cat's Claw too, and it seemed to help me.  I've taken a break from it and am definitely feeling worse now.

Your symptoms might be a Herx, it's different in everyone.
