No, I agree....I am just not a liquid medicine fan.
Mepron is indeed yellow, but I don't recall the taste or texture being gag-worthy.
What's worse: Babesia, or Mepron? Trust me, it's an easy answer.
Yes, it took my friend years for positive babs but that Mepron looks like thick yellow paint. Ugh.....if it cures me then good. What did your friend take for Bart's? I was taking levaquin but it gave me tendinitis so I switched to minocycline.
My friend with Lyme-Babs-Bart also took Mepron and Zithromax. I believe Mepron is the first and best choice, but other anti-malarials can be used if it doesn't work out well.
I am glad you tested positive. I am not glad you have it, but I have heard many stories of people who had it for a long time and were testing negative. Less than half test positive, so that's a good thing. You should start feeling better soon.
Thanks Jackie. A friend of mine couldn't eat with the Mepron. Not the worse thing in the world, lol.
Yep: Mepron and Zithromax (or the generic form, whatever). No problems for me with it at all.
