Herx and minocycline?
I started it yesterday and it seems my legs hurt worse. Is it possible to herx after 24 hours of taking a med? My muscles are killing me in my legs and twitching and hurt:( arms too a bit.. It seems to affect my muscles more then joints is that normal?? Sorry so many questions just confused.. I also have alot of pressure in my head that comes and goes.
I hope it passes soon and it turns out this suffering was all to a good end!

I do have some help. I woke up last night with a weird stabbing pain in my back and am nauseous this morning. But got to tough it out. Time for work...
24 hours sounds like just the time frame to get a herx starting up.
Drink lots of water to help flush out the dead bacteria toxins, use painkillers for a few days if necessary and try to talk to your doctor for his guidance through it.
If it lasts more than 4 days or if you feel really awful, you should definitely contact the doc urgently because then it starts to look more like a drug problem than herx, according to my doc. I have had herxes last 8 days or a bit more, but you should be talking to the doc in that situation.

I'm sorry you're feeling so bad. "Pressure in the head" sounds like encephalitis. Not the kind that kills you but something a lot of Lymies get. I always said it was like wearing a swimming cap two sized too small. Pressure! Yes!
Briefly--- a herx CAN come that soon. So can a drug reaction. Mino was an awful drug for me----- but some people just loved it from the git-go. And a lot of people said that after the initial junk/herx they got better. I hope you're in the latter group.
