LLMD appointment news

Hello Guys, well  for those who havent read my messages Im just going to say that I have been experiencing dizziness, lightheadedness, visual disturbances (halos around lights, photophobia, floaters, eye pain), headaches, fatigue, etc that come and go, but theres always something there..everything started on 2008. ANYWAY... saw million doctors, have had several MRIs, bloodwork, etc during these years and everything normal.. EXCEPT a questionable IgeneX result... IgG Western Blot came out positive due to 2 positive bands... but CDC negative... SO I had to fly to Texas all the way from Argentina to see a LLMD. Whohoo!! This was last week in fact. Anyway... so they were really nice and listened to every thing I had to say about my symptoms, they did not have this crazy look that most doctors have when Iexplain my symptoms. In summary, she did not rule out anything, she said this can very well be lyme (she even published a paper on it)... so I got tested for co-infections (PCR) and they were ALL negative... and (pay attention to this) she tested me for the level of CD57 cells in blood... aparently below 60 means you have lyme, but if you are around 180 or 200 you are OK and Lyme is ruled out!! So... guess what... it came out fine! So I was completely disappointed.. BUT she tested me for something else who came out HIGH!!! and thanks to that I am on treatment.... Guys, I have antibodies for HHV 6 (Human herpes Virus type 6)... and on the results it says HIGH. This doctor says this can cause similar symptoms to Lyme's and Multiple Sclerosis... Apparently we all have antibodies to this virus, but in some people it reactivates and it can stay active, as in my case I believe. Apparently I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.... but the definition for that isnt what I thought it meant. It doesnt mean you are just physically fatigued, it can vary from person to person, you can have neurologic symptoms, visual disturbances... and fatigue that can be ther eor not or that it may come and go as well as with the other symptoms..
So if you are in limbo land please mae sure to check for Lyme... if the results are suspicious but not really clear, make sure to get your CD57 level tested.... and also make sure to get an HHV 6 test done!
I began treatment a week ago, the doctor said I will not notice anything for 3 weeks, but after that to start paying attention... and it should get better.
Just wanted to give you an update and Im sure this may help many people who arelimboing.
Hugs!
Gaucho
