My nero now says I could have lyme.

You can contact ILADS for a referral. You could also look for local support groups or a state Lyme Disease association that can suggest some names, some who might even take our insurance. You can also create your own post asking for suggestions via private message. PA has a lot of Lyme and there are doctors out there treating it.

Is Dr Joseph Joseph an internal medicine dr or is he also an infectious disease dr.? I scheduled an appt with him but have to pay in cash for his visits as Medicare for the blind is not accepted...Does he treat Chronic Lyme patients (I was undiagnosed for 20 years after bite)?

Need an excellent pediatiric lyme doc other than doc Jones as the waiting list is very Long. my 20 month old needs to see a doc.

there is a Lyme specialist in Belle Haven Va.. i live in Ocean City md which is 8 hrs or so from Pittsburge, and he is a bit over an hour down rt113 south.
Dr, Gubb.. i have only seen him twice but he comes highly reccomended, and i know people come from all over the country to see him. he as lyme and babesisos and tells it like it is.. i wouldn't (personally) trust going to anyone else. i have been sick for over 20 years and he has been the only one to really care and do the work to help me. he saved my life.

There are two LLMDs in western PA, and they're both in Hermitage (practically side by side). They're Dr. S. Chandra Swami, MD and Dr. Joseph Joseph, MD (yes, that's his real name).
The next-closer female Lyme doc is in western Va.
I highly recommend Dr. Swami (Dr. Joseph can only see adults, but Dr. Swami can see both adults and children).
