I’ve been feeling very tired, muscle pain , joint pain and recently treated for hypothyroidism with positive antibodies. Still not feeling well tested for Lymes but western blot negative but reactive 41, 63, 23 KD IgG band what does this mean?
Hello and welcome to the forum. Well, a negative test is good and may indicate that you do not have Lyme Disease. However, up to 56% of patients with lyme disease test negative with a two tier testing system that the CDC recommends. It's difficult to diagnose for some. https://www.lymedisease.org/lyme-basics/lyme-disease/diagnosis/ The western blot test is usually the confirmatory test though. https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/lyme-disease/diagnosis-treatment/drc-20374655 Have you looked into Epstein Barr or Chronic Fatigue syndrome?
