hey everyone.. just doing some research and finding some interesting reads online, wondering what everyone thinks!
I've always had the theory, or should I say believe in the theory (which I'm sure a ton of you have) that Lyme is not only transmitted by ticks, but other blood-vector insects (mosquitoes, fleas, head lice, mites, etc.)
If a mosquito can transmit Encephalitis and a tick can transmit Encephalitis then why can’t mosquitoes transmit Lyme and Lyme related co-infections to humans/animals?? I mean, to me it only makes sense. Not to mention, how many people get bit my mosquitoes (WITH A “S” that’s plural) EVERY DAY in the summer time, not all of us who are subjected to mosquitoes on a daily base are exposed to even a single tick in the summer months. I mean what would the ratio of mosquito bites be to tick bites??
And think about this… if mosquitoes can transmit Lyme.. maybe that would explain all these other diseases that are so close to Lyme (ie: MS, Fibro, Alzheimer’s ALS.. CFS.. Lupus etc. It would be so easy to contract the infection of Bb via mosquito bite(s). Hence why people don’t even think of Lyme disease being the cause of their problems and symptoms.. “A tick??, I’ve never been bitten by one of those”
I had Two EM rashes.. I did not see any kind of tick or “out of the ordinary” bite
In order for a female mosquito to fertilize its eggs it needs to feed off of a mammal.
A female misquote lives anywhere from approximately 2 weeks to a month (giving her many opportunities to bite victims) , and lays THOUSANDS of eggs in its life time.
Not to mention… if that mosquito bites a human who has Lyme or an animal that has Lyme.. will that “infected” blood supply be transmitted to the mosquitoes’ eggs??? her spawns??? So now, not only is she infecting everyone she’s biting, but now she has created thousands of little thirst driven pests that carry lyme and our feeding off us poor uneducated victims of Lyme.
Is anyone on the same page as me??? Have any of you found some good supporting articles???
Love to my Lymies,
Michelle.
P.S Loving the controversial subject about if Bb is transmitted sexually… if the Syphilis spirochete is transmitted sexually, how is Lyme not?????
