Please help with med and supplement schedule

My LLMD never went over my schedule for meds and supplements and since I have a lot of difficulty with thinking/concentrating, I was wondering if any of you could please review the schedule that I have come up with and advise:

Before breakfast:
lemon, olive oil, and water mixture

After breakfast:
ensure meal supplement for weight gain
probiotic
burbur detox

After lunch:
doxy 100
(1 hour later)
magnesium (1 tsp)
burbur detox
vit. D (2000)

After dinner:
T3 (thyroid support)
burbur detox
iron
b-12
multivitamin (one-a-day)

Before bed, after snack:
doxy 100
plaquenil (1/2 of 200 tablet)
(1 hour later)
burbur detox
ducolax

Thanks, in advance!!!  (Also, will have to work glutathione, red root, dandelion root, and immune support supplements at some point in time over the next couple of weeks)

No sorry necessary:). I didn't make it clear when I typed the list.  I'm going to email my LLMD the schedule and ask if she has a problem with cont. 200 doxycycline since it is still a lower than avg dose.

400mg of Doxy is the normal dose given at first. Sorry, didn't know the thyroid were drops and not the normal pills.

I wouldn't freelance and modify the doc's orders.  Yes, I am VERY skeptical of docs generally, but if you mess with their orders, then you never know if they were right or wrong.  I'd give the doc's orders a try and keep notes on how you feel each day and exactly what doses of what you took.  It's very easy (for me at least) not to remember what I ate for breakfast, much less what meds I took when a month ago.

I think I mention in an earlier post (perhaps to someone else) that I kept a document on my computer where I had columns for:

date / what meds taken at what times / what food taken at what times/ how I felt looking back over the day, how I slept the night before, etc.

I can be handwritten, in a notebook, or anything like that.  Some docs like the data, some don't, but it helped me keep track of my progress or notice things that were causing problems.

I had one doc, after I was done treating with the Lyme doc, ask to see all my notes kept that way, and she said it was very helpful information for her to see into the past and where I had come from and ended up in the treatment process.  Just a thought.

But don't be freelancing with the meds, changing or skipping doses, etc., because then you and the doc aren't on the same page because the data is corrupted.

Will consult with the pharmacist or maybe email my schedule to the LLMD for review.  I did the list according to knowing that the doxy should be taken after food and separated from the probiotic and the ensure.  Also, I was under the influence that doxy should be separated from vitamins as well?  Do you think an hour is enough?  The thyroid support is a vitamin supplement, not to be confused with actual T3 prescription meds.  I took it for the 1st time today and noticed some improvement in my symptoms.  This is the 1st improvement EVER in a year!  Hope it is not a fluke and an actual real supplement induced difference!  This supplement contains: Vit A (as retinyl palmitate), Vit D3 (as cholecalciferol), Vit E (as d-alpha tocopheryl succinate), Iodine (as atlantic kelp), Zinc citrate, Selenium, guggulsterones, rosemary extract, and ashwagandha root.  The LLMD said that she has had many patients' thyroid antibodies drop significantly on this supplement.

Cave-  My LLMD actually wanted me to drop down to only 100 of doxy a day once I start the Plaquenil!  It's concerning!  I'm not sure if I'm in agreement with this protocol and your comment and others on my "plaquenil" post have me skeptical if I should lower the dose.

I am in agreement with everyone. I would ask the pharmacist about the thyroid medication. The ones I have been on say take on an empty stomach.

You've done a good job organizing the information -- wish I could help, but it's beyond my knowledge to know the timing and potential interference among the meds.  How did you figure out what to put where and when on the list?

Consider printing out the list just as you have written it (including the ones at the bottom that you haven't started yet) and take it to the pharmacy where you get your meds and ask for a consultation.

Tell the pharmacist that your doc gave you the list of things to take, but no advice on timing, and would s/he kindly review the list and see if it works to avoid conflicts in the meds/supplements.

I doubt think you would charged anything for the consultation if it's where you already get your meds.  When you approach the pharmacist, be sure to mention that you get your meds at his place.

I'm sorry that I can't help you with the supplements you're taking but I'm sure someone else can.

I did notice that you're only taking 200 mg of doxy per day. Most llmds rx 400 mg per day. That's something you and your llmd might discuss. Perhaps he has a reason.
