Ready to Start Treament

I had to order all of my ABx from a mail order pharmacy and I just finally got them yesterday. I am anxious to start treatment even though I am dreading the herxing. At this point, just as long as there is actually light at the end of the tunnel, I am willing to endure almost anything!

One point of frustration though, my doctor told me I will be taking Cefdinir daily for 2 months and one month I will also be taking Azithromycin and the other month I take Doxycycline...but none of my instructions say which one I should start with. I am anxious to get going on this and hate to have to wait until tomorrow so that I can clarify. I know one more day shouldn't matter that much, but that could mean feeling better one day earlier, once this starts to work! I really am trying to work on my patience:)

One more day really wont matter in the big picture and it is better to get the plan your doctor had in mind right. Some people don't herx and others do, mine has reduced since I first started treatment but when my medical professional friends tell me that the good thing about herxing is that you can keep in your mind that there is probably a die off going on and that may keep you more positive if it happens. It worked for me.

It's frustrating but, as you say, one day won't change much.
Good luck - I hope you get rapid results.
Don't be scared of the herxing, lots of people don't even get herxes. And they don't last more than a few days usually.
