Doxycycline has been having 'shortage' problems for a long time. That might make it impossible to buy it through a no-prescription online Canadian pharmacy.
The prices have also jumped by a large degree! Even generic.
"Aug. 21 (Bloomberg) -- Hikma Pharmaceuticals Plc raised this year’s revenue forecast for a third time after halting sales of an anti-infective medicine in the U.S., then benefiting from a spike in demand when the drug went back on sale."
I'm not saying that the shortage is was artificially created. Read the entire article:

I recommend Dr Zhang's herbs. I have tried several of them and I know for a fact the one they have for Bartonella works because without it, if I miss a month I get the Bartonella lesions again.
He has a book that explains which herbs to take for Lyme and the different co-infection. Dr James Schaller uses Zhang's herbs in his practice as an addition to abx.
The only herbal protocols I would feel comfortable recommending would be those offered by Stephen Buhner.
There might be others who can recommend alternative treatments for RMSF. I've never tried Buhner's protocols.
That's an outrage that your doctor's refuse to treat you longer. However it's not unusual----- which is absolutely no consolation to you, I know.
Can you change doctors?
I am so sorry you lost your job. I've spent most days in bed too....it's been going on for 6 months now. I'm also interested in alternative meds that might help.
Hope we can find some answers here
