What is going on with my head?

I know without looking at a clock/watch that it is noon.  Every day at noon, I start to go downhill.  The pressure starts in my head.  I also now have roaring in my right ear after a bad sinus infection a month ago.  I start feeling uneasy and my heart starts racing.  This happens every day.  It has been going on for a little over 2 years.  It started after I experienced panic attacks and anxiety attacks. This makes me feel awful. I know I need to get home as soon as possible at this time.  Please tell me if you have had similar experiences and if you have any idea what could be causing this.  What have you done that has helped you?

I may have responded at the other post location, but better twice than not at all:  if your Lyme infection was older than very very recent, doxy may not be effective.  Might want to run that by your doc and ask for his/her rational on doxy being appropriate.  Not all docs know that.

I thought I would give you a update.  I haven't posted in over a year.  I did see a LLND.  I was diagnosed with lyme, RMSF, CBV, CMV, and babesia.  I was treated for 6 months and cleared all but the babesia. He didn't discover I had it until the end of the 6 months.  I am in treatment for it now.  It has been a really rough treatment.  I'm in a lot of pain, very sick, awful headaches.  The babesia is the answer to what was going on with my head.

I meant to post the previous on a different discussion, so sorry that it is probably irrelevant to this discussion. I am still learning my new phone:/

I guess I am pretty lucky. My insurance pays for Mepron and my pharmacy has it shipped next day! I have been on it for a month now with no bad reactions, but no earth shattering improvements either. I am also taking Artimesinin (wormwood) and I take two drops of the DoTerra Oregano oil everyday. Oh yeah, and i am still taking Doxy 4 times a day. I will be on it two more months till my LLMD re-evaluates me. My patience is being tested, I just want this ugly bug to pack it's **** and leave haha!! I caught it early, I am young and strong, and I have faith that God will heal me, so that I can go on to worship him in good health:) I am praying for all of you, too, out there struggling with these illnesses.

oops, should say:  a HANDY category

I think LLND is short for 'Lyme-literate naturopathic doctor', that is, one that doesn't focus on antibiotics for treatment. It's not a degree, just a handing category to describe where the doc is coming from in his/her approach.

Mojo, correct me if I'm wrong - I've never been to an LLND.

You could also try an LLND they are usually in every state and treat naturally. Having been on both with a long term infection, the natural protocol has given me better results.

I am sorry this is happening to you!

I just searched online for

    -- Alabama LLMD --

and there were quite a number of links to follow.  As you can perhaps agree, the docs you are seeing currently are missing something, and that you have RMSF means you have been bitten by something that might be carrying Lyme as well, and perhaps other infections.

A knowledgeable MD is necessary to make a proper diagnosis and formulate treatment.

Ask a friend to help you find a Lyme specialist!  Keep us posted -- best wishes --

I'm in Alabama where there are no lyme specialist near.  I have only been referred to a couple of IDs, which were zero help.  I was given rocephrin and doxy by my regular MD.  I tested positive for RMSF. Some of my symptoms are better, but this head issue is awful.  I don't know if it's from the tick bite or something else.  I was told I have fluid on my ear now. Nothing has cleared this up.  I have been having the pressure in my head issue for over 2 years.  The latest sinus infection seem to end up in my ear causing even more pressure plus awful roaring.  I have been given a rocephrin shot and antibiotics.  The pressure in my ear is better but the roaring continues.  The pressure in my head has been the same for over 2 yrs.  If it's from the tick bite, why would it just get so bad at noon or after?

What kinds of MDs have you seen?  MDs tend to focus on a small area of medicine and so are not experienced in a broad range of possibilities.

And sorry, but I don't recall where you are located -- in which state or near what city?  That might help us find you some leads to good MDs.
