ok have i got lyme or not

I picked up my bloods my ELISA came positive this is the screening test but my western blot came negative?? So ID consultant has orderedme to have another test this is the lyme borellia lgG Line blot. What an earth is that?? The fact that the first one came positive doesnt mean i have lyme im.told its non specific. How true is this?

Can you post the results from your Western Blot? Sometimes Dr's that are not Lyme aware may say negative when we know its positive.

Always get a copy of your test results. They belong to you and you can bring them with you to other doc or LLMD .

Nazzy---- the link works for me. Did you highlight it then copy paste into the google query bar? The links here aren't always "live" so a person has to do that first

And to repeat what mojo said---- always get a copy of your test results. The doctor will give them to you in the States. Sometimes you have to ask for them first. I assume the NHS is the same.
