blurry vision and nausea often accompany 'migraine' headaches - I am sure you know this already - making sure you drink plenty of water can help - I discovered this myself - quite suprising - worth a try.
Drinking plenty of water when taking antibiotics is a good thing too.
Perhaps having a gentle head and neck massage would be beneficial - if done by a proffesional it can be very relaxing - definately worth spoiling yourself with.
Hi, I take the Rx Midrin for my (migraine type) headaches. It does say "may cause drowsiness" on the label, and it does make me a little fuzzy. It may not be the best if you need to study, but it does help me quite a bit. God bless you.
This is my biggest complaint right now. I have this burning tingling feeling in my head. Along with this my vision gets blurry and it is very painful and then I get tinnitus. From what I am reading it's amnonia from the bugs. If anyone has a trick for this I woud love to hear it too!!
Chloroella I've heard helps but I haven't got any yet.
I have been having these headaches too. Although I try to stay away from caffeine, I do get myself a coke or Mt. Dew when I have a bad headache, as it tends to help. I take advil/naproxen/tylenol/aspirin - they all seem to do the same thing. Naproxen can upset my stomach more than others if I don't drink a full glass of water or eat with it (prescription strength). Aspirin makes my ears ring worse (tinnitus). I have been to the eye doc several times with no answer on the blurriness. They say I have 20/20, but I have to squint to get that. I also try to relax my facial muscles more as I note that I am squinting and it's not really helping my vision. Keep posting and take care - let us know your treatment course.
I sometimes use Rx naproxen (the active ingredient in aleve) but it only sometimes takes off the edge and also can upset my stomach if I use it too often. But this is just symptom control, it is the antibiotics that hit the root cause.
How long did you have Lyme before your diagnosis, and for how long does your doctor want you to take antibiotics? If you caught the disease early, you may improve quickly. Late diagnosis or insufficient treatment complicates the picture.
