types of rashes/ and how they look

Ok, I figured that I would start another post for another question.... When I was pregnant with my son, he is 8 now, i was still working. One of the consumers I was working with had ringworm, I was very careful, and used gloves when working closely with him. About a week later, I saw one little circular patch on my right shin, and started to get worried that I was going to get the ringworm. I went right to my dr. She checked it out and said that it was not ringworm....
My question is,, has anyone had different types of rashes or odd shaped patches  on their skin that looks circular without the bulls eye type look?

If you have had other types of rashes other than the classic bull's eye, can you please explain? thanks everyone... oh yeah, and that "ringworm" looking thing on my leg, went away after a couple of days with nothing else recurring.

In my case, I like to think it was the little vermin running to the surface to escape the stuff I've been putting in me.  Little did they know I had the thymol.  I really like killing micro vermin!

Take a look at the wiki page for syphillis, and also for sarcoidosis.  I had a rash on my ankles recently that looked like sarcoidosis, and on my shin a raised area that looked like those that are caused by syphillis, a you know, also a spirochete.  Topical application of thymol cleared them up.

Hi Jackie, thankyou and yes I did try that. It's hard to tell, except for the fact that I didn't have multiple circular rashes, just one, and it went away.

Have you tried going to google, for example, and searching 'circular rash' (without quotes), and clicking on 'images' in the sidebar of the screen?  I did that just now, and got 150,000+ images.  There are SO many different rashes that fit that description, and even Lyme rashes vary in different people.
