I had the same problem & found that tegaderm dressings work perfectly! I use the 6 cm x 7cm size & order them online from Amazon.com. Good luck!

I find that applying my HRT patches on the boney area of my backside approx where my hips are but towards the back (if that makes any sense at all?) works best for me.

Make sure that the skin is clean and dry, with no traces of moisturiser, oil or powder and then then firmly place the patch with the palm of your hand for about 10 seconds.   Make sure that the patch has properly stuck onto your skin.  Then go over the edges of the patch with your finger to ensure good contact around the patch.  Try to avoid touching the sticky side of the patch with your fingers as this can effect the adhesive properties of the patch.

Hope this helps.
