potential menopause

I am 44 years old and I had my tubes tied 10 years ago.  My periods have been regular for as long as I can remember.  By regular I mean 26-30 day cycles.  My period is 10 days late.  I feel moody and have mild cramps. I took a pregnancy test just to rule out potential pregnancy. It was negative.  I have had 3 healthy normal pregnancies without complications.  I am at a loss. Is this the beginning of menopause? Is something else going on? Is this normal?

Hi,
If periods get delayed once in a while you should not get too worried. More so ever you have ruled out a pregnancy. Hence this can be because of hormonal changes. However it would be best to consult a gynaecologist for an evaluation.
Hope this helps.
