MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Blood in urine is called hematuria. This signifies any underlying medical conditions which needs investigations to confirm. Most often it is related to urinary tract problems like kidney stones, inflammation of urinary tract, prostate enlargement, renal vein thrombosis, certain kidney tumors and polycystic kidney disease, blood coagulation disorders and anticoagulants. Your boyfriend needs an immediate evaluation from a urologist.

I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

You are getting sliced baloney. Your boyfriend is mandated by military regulation to report for sick call and document this problem. Not to do so is a violation of the UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice). Once reported, he will be excused from all duties until the medical problem is cleared up. Any other story is a fabrication. He will not suffer any penalties for this. This is not necessarily a veneral disease. There are many causes for this symptom. One thing is for certain - it isn't going to get better without treatment.
