What does it mean when I have a decently sized bump on the area above my genitals?

I am a male and I just noticed a bump right above my genitals. It seems like as if I was bit there yet I have no idea what it could be as I don't get bit by mosquitos much and no signs of bed bugs. I was thinking it may be a health related issue but not sure what it could mean. It doesn't cause too much pain at all but you can feel that slight pain when pressing down on it. I think I've had it for 2-3 days now.
Thanks
