Hi, simple things like onion and garlic, will cut and break up your mucus, the old fashioned way is a good cheese and onion sandwich and chuck in some thin sliced garlic, take these 3 times a day, and the last 1 just before you go to bed, the trick with these is to have the onion as thick as your mouth will take the heat ot the onion, its the only real way it will work.
But you need to kick out the smoking, if you do have bronchitis, its the only way you will ever be well, but dont do it cold turkey, do it slowly over 3 weeks, till your down to 3 a day then thats the time to quit.
