You can get some over the counter cream for sprains but also try some hot baths. Some times when straining we can actually rip the muscle and takes some TLC and time for it to heal.

Hi an d welcome, since your burning leg happened after you moved i would think there is some connection here. There is a long muscle above the knee Maybe you bruised or strained a muscle from lifting and the cold is not making it any better.
