infection?
Hello, sorry for some gross elements and stupidity, but i was wondering if urine possibly going into your butthole is bad?
about 3 hrs ago i peed in my home toilet, then i took a shower and i forgot to flush it. i know, it's stupid. even more stupid, about an hour ago i had to go #2 and i was distracted while walking in and just sat down with the urine still in the toilet. i was slightly constipated so the first drop made a big splash and i felt it, and i'm paranoid that some of it might of went in the butthole. anyways a few minutes after, i finished my business and i went into the shower and tried to wash the general area with soap and water.

Urine as such is sterile. Fresh urine will not even smell foul. Urine therapy is quite popular in some places.It is not infectious.Stool has annoying value. Otherwise the contact with the skin is not infectious.

You have nothing to worry about the accidental splash of urine going where is shouldn't have.
For the constipation, make sure that you eat a healthy and well balanced diet with plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. Porridge and cereals like Shredded Wheat and Wheatabix that contain no sugar are pretty good and contain a lot of fibre which helps the bowels to move. It is important though that you do need to drink plenty of fluids (not alcohol), water is best.
Doing regular exercise and going for brisk walks is also a good way to get your bowels to move.
Having constipation can lead to all sorts of problems like haemorrhoids (piles), fissures just to name a few. It is important to have a healthy bowel.

Isn't there ton of bacteria in urine? Urine therapist says urine is sterile, Self urine therapy and cow urine therapy are well known therapies at least In India. Even it is used as ear and eye drops and for massage. There is Dr. Jains cow urine products. Herbs are prepared with cow's urine. You will find regular advertisements in the internet.Fresh urine does not contain pathogenic bacteria .Urine is considered as derivative of blood and not a wast. This is just for your information.I am not qualified enough to recommend urine therapy.
