questions about groin rash

ok so ive had this groin rash for about 11 days now. its mostly just chafing on the fold of my groin on both sides but i was worried because this is the second time ive gotten the rash in a span of 4 months.
i went to the free clinic 2 days ago and the doctor took a look and immediately said that its not an std. she said its just a simple sweat rash or jock itch or yeast etc. i left the clinic happy at the time.. but now i realize that i still dont really know what it is... and since then ive developed some more symptoms... the other night my scrotum became very uncomfortable and was redish, kinda leathery and the veins became darker and more visable. also the opening of my penis started to feel a bit uncomfortable... theres no sores or anything there and i wouldnt reaaaally describe it as "burning" or anything but its uncomfortable. (it doesnt hurt when i pee or anything either btw) also its starting to feel like i have to urinate often.. even though i dont really have to... and i have alot of gas right at the bottom of my abdomen that feels like its just stuck there... (i cant fart it out or burp).

anyways... im super paranoid about this... so these are my questions:

1.) do these new symptoms sound consistent with any of those rashes i mentioned? (sweat rash or jock itch or yeast infection)

2.) is this a type of rash that will keep coming back unless it is treated? or are these rashes (4 months apart) just totally unrelated?

It sounds like you have two things going on at the same time. Jock itch and a possible bladder infection.
Go back to the clinic to have them check you for a bladder or kidney infection.  Remar
