Hi I do not have the slightest idea. But lately i read something about a candida infection without symptoms that that went untreated for a very long time. But you'd  have to do a bloodtest in a lab that knows how to look for this kind of overgrowth of candida.???

The doctor said again: do not wash with soap, not even baby soap!! done that but to no reveal, still get those same cuts again and again after five YEARS!!!

Try given sex and masterbating up for a while, dont use any creames or oils on it, that way it should heal, but because the skin is thin and delicate, and because of nightly erections may just take some time heal as well.
Good Luck
