Vertigo in 11 year old son

My son keeps having this recurring vertigo sensation where all of a sudden he gets significant head pressure, ringing in his ears, his vision gets blurred and he feels sick to his stomach.  He has also been having headaches recently.  Does anyone know what this could be?

Do you have Migraines in your family history?  Definitely, could be migraines but get him to the doctor ASAP.  How old is he, if he's young those estachian(Sp) tubes are still pretty horizontal and that can cause pain from ears but I am worried about blurred vision.  Doctor ASAP - just to be on the safe side.

There are several possibilities that could be causing the symptoms of your son.

Migraines are typically characterized by throbbing headaches that can be associated with blurring of vision, vertigo, and stomach discomfort.

Sinus headaches can also present with headaches, head pressure, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), and vertigo which could be causing the stomach discomfort.

An ear condition may cause vertigo, some head pressure and headache.

You should bring your son to a pediatrician to evaluate his symptoms and properly manage his condition.
