headache unconscious no proper diagnosis

Here is the description of problem that my father is facing, he is 63 now:
He has undergone angioplasty twice (Not he does not have blockage).
He is Diabetic (He takes a tablet daily to control) and high BP Paitient
He has Survical and lower Back Pain and Knee problem also.

For more that 1 year, he gets a severe headache, vertigo and then looses his conscious for hours together it lasts for 6-8 hours.
He gets pain in his chest too some times.

Consulted:
Cardiologist: Did TMT, Echo and Angiography all good..
Neurologist: Did EEG, MRI/CT Scan not many leads.
Orthopadics:  Did Xray and MRi for Survical .. not sure why the headache comes.

Problem:
We had a discussion with our regular Cardio/Neuro and Othro all in the same room but nothing concerete got out other than a hit and trial of taking medicine.
From different doctors we are getting different opinions, we have tried 2-3 Neurologist also.
Doctors, tried medicine for Migraine, increasing Blood Flow to Brain, Trying to see if there is tissue loss in brain, Survical.. but the problem still their and doctors are not very sure what it is...
They are now at a stage to say that take this sos pain killers when the pain is more but the situation is bad enough to be dealt with pain killers.

Looking For:
Guidance on how to go about it.. because even after getting all doctors together we could not get to the root cause... Now the neurologist says they can put him under their supervision for 2 weeks in the hospital and see if they get something.

Regards

There was a show on tv i think it was mystery diagnosis(sp) and the girl had the same thing as your daughter. They finally igured out what it was after years of tests. I'll try to look it up but I know it was a medical show about 2 years ago. I'll do my best to help.

EEG test did not showed anything like that. Have not done any other specific tests for this. He already had undergone CT Scan and MRI but nothing on this front has been indicated by doctors.
