My father in law gets these. He was hit ny a car 5 years ago and sustained a bad blow to the head.  Google "ice pick" headaches and see if that gets you anywhere.  Good luck.

Think it could be a nurve because i hit my head by accident with a heavy lamp  on a right side above my temporal like a month ago when i was standing up on a chair and it wasnt  that  bad  i had no bump or annything but then  i felt small burning feeling on my right side of the head above my ear  2 weeks later when i was watching tv.Well then it started  happening at diffrent times a day. I started to spend alot more time at the computer and it happends mostly when i'm wearing my  headphones it's like  pressuring  burning  feeling above my right ear  it hit's for 2 to 4 seconds and goes away. Then in like 30 min   later it does it again. Now even when i go outside it starts to burn  sometimes. When i eat i dont feel it mostly when i'm at the computer or watching tv.

Sorry nobody answered your question! Your question is very broad. Is this something that  just recently happened? The pain only lasts 2-3seconds? Does it happen when you eat or is it random?  It can be anything can you give a little more specific information?
