Since April last year 2007. My husband has had an unusual head pain. They are highly stereotyped attacks, without warning. He develops a midline discomfort of the nose (a throbbing pain) and a tightness, and a pain above both eyes. The pain becomes maximal after about five minutes or so and can last between two hours and a day. Occassionaly is eyes can seem a little blurry and sometimes drooping of the right eyelid. He has seen a ENT Specialist, (had a CT Scan) which has come back clear, and seen a Eye Specialist too, (also come back clear). He is now under a Neurologist and is being treated for an unusual type of migraine. He has been taking for 8 weeks Topamax, which seem to be no help at all.
Can anyone shed any light on these symptoms. Thank you so much.
