2nd miscarriage

HI THERE, I HAD A M/C FEB 4TH 2008, WAS TOLD BABY HAD DIED AT 5 WEEKS, I FOUND OUT END OF DEC 2008 I WAS PREGNANT AGAIN, THIS TIME I HAD AN EARLY SCAN AT 6 WEEKS ON THE 22ND JAN 2009 AND COULD SEE EVERYTHING WAS FINE WITH A HEARTBEAT, STARTED SPOTTING FRIDAY JUST GONE SO RANG EPAU AND THEY GOT ME IN FOR ANOTHER SCAN AND I WAS TOLD HEARTBEAT HAD STOPPED, DE JA VUE. I HAVE LOST LOTS OF BLOOD AND HUGE CLOTS SINCE FRIDAY AND HAVE TAKEN THE DAY OFF WORK TODAY BUT I THINKING THE BLEEDING IS COMING TO A STOP, I ALSO HAD REALLY BAD CRAMPS WHICH I KNEW I WOULD AS I DID LAST YEAR BUT NOW THE CRAMPS HAVE GONE TOO. I AM WANTING TO START TRYING AGAIN ASAP, ANY ADVICE OR ANYONE HAD THE SAME THING

Hi Elle, I am so sorry for your losses. We are in the same situation. I had my 2nd m/c last January 27 at almost 9 weeks. It started as spotting then it progresses and had pass big clots and it was a natural miscarriage. The process was fast and the bleeding stop at exactly 11 days. I had test for my hcg last Saturday and it was back to 0. My obgyn told me when I had my first m/c to wait for 3 to 4 months before ttc again, at that time I had d&c because the tissue were not pass completely. Then, I waited until 5 months later, I was pregnant but miscarriage again. I think there's no problem if we want to ttc right away after the miscarriage because I always looked at my first m/c and had waited for 5 months but the same thing happened. Did your doctor asked you to have some test done? My doctor is hesitant to have some test, she said to wait until 3 m/c in a row and thats the time I will have some test.

hey im sorry for you loss. i know its hard. I had my first mc in sept i was 5 weeks. i got preg again and mc'd again in nov. i had the same feeling awful cramping and horrible back pain..all my symptoms of pregnancy went away really fast too. i just found out in jan that im preg again and im going to be 6 weeks. im pretty nervouse but staying positive. just dont give up hope. if you need us we are all here to support you and listened to you!

I'm sorry for your losses. I was told by my dr to wait 3 cycles. I made sure my levels went to zero and that there was not immediate issures with my body etc. TTC is a very personal choice. I would make sure your bleeding has stopped completely. You don't want to get an infection. Do you have a follow up app with your dr? I would for now try to rest and relax.
