it sounds like you should be fine some spotting is not uncommon with pregnancy in fact some women have vaginal bleeding and are still pregnant. my older sister bled in her first trimester so she didnt know she was pregnant and turns out the baby was fine and she has grown into a beautiful 2 year old girl. just check with your Dr. you are most likely fine along with the baby.

Hi Emily,
Sorry you are going through this.  Believe me I know how you feel.  I am 3-4 weeks pregnant right now (1st time after my miscarriage in June) and I don't know if I am going to be OK or not (having a lot of pain on one side waiting for test results).  I think it is normal for your levels not to exactly double every few days (if not it should make up for that little difference within the next day or so) and your bleeding at 5 weeks could have been implantation bleeding.  Hope your ultrasound went OK and I know it's hard to tell your brain not to worry, but really it doesn't do any good and regardless it's going to be what it's going to be nothing you did or could do.  Hope the best for you!  Let me know if you need to chat.

Waiting also and it *****,
Heather
