Am i having a miscarriage- bledding for 15 days now

Hi, I am new to this forum.

I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks in Sept 09.  I had a late period last month on day 30 and normally my cyle is always 25 days.  This month I had an early period on day 21.  On the 1st day it felt like I was having a miscarriage although pregnancy tests were all negative.  I have been bleeding since then for 15 days now and the bleeding is not stopping.  I get a lot of blood clots and sometimes some light cramps in my tummy.  I went to my doctor and he is trying to book an ultrasound for me this week or next week.  He recommended some tablets to stop the bleeding but I dont want to take them because I feel like I am having a miscarriage.  Most of the times I actually feel the clots coming out, it feels like something has dropped on my pad - this is what makes me think it could be a miscarriage as i experienced this before.  Anyone experienced this before, or any advise please.

I had an experience where I didn't know I was m/c until I bled for like 9 days, passed some gray tissue, and went to the Dr.  I would have overlooked the tissue as some sort of weird blood clot if it hadn't been for the fact that I was bleeding for way too long.  The Dr. did beta quantitive hcg test and found that I was pregnant but having a m/c.  The first step needs to be an u/s and also taking your hcg levels.  I would not take anything to stop the bleeding.

Welcome to our forum. I'm not sure what is going on I would def get in to see your dr if it's a m/c with all the bleeding you don't want to run the risk of infection. However every woman's body handles m/c differently so you may just have alot of bleeding. There are numerous things it could be I wish I could be more help. Please keep me posted and let me know what happens! I hope you feel better soon...
