Complications after miscarriage

I wonder if anyone can help me, on April 30th this yr we were 8 wks pregnant with 3rd child, was dignosed with a blighted ovum, I miscarried naturaly and about 1 wk later had an ultrasound, was told that it was clear ie nothing left, was told by dc that I didnt have to wait and could try again, at exactly 6 wks later (June 10th) we thought we were preg again but got a neg preg test then got my period, little heavier than normal but nothing major, bled for about 1 wk start to finish, 2 wks later (June 26th) started spotting again, went bk to dcs it was very very light and brown only, he said it was disfunctional bleeding, this lasted about another week, well now we are at Aug 19th and I havnt had any period nor spotting since, we are still trying to get preg, have taken a test last week and it still comes up neg, is this normal? I am getting frustrated, do you have to ovulate to get a period?

i know that after my first MC, my periods were longer and crazy.  check with the docotr but he might say it is normal and should start regulating itself within the next 2  or 3 months.

Thanxs for the info, 2 days ago I finally got my period! Hopefully we can now start to have another chance to get pregnant, in answer to your question, they never did take my hcg levels, I knew that my levels were under 25, cos the ept tests were an absolute neg, no questions asked!, Keeping my fingers crossed for some results in the next few months!

Have you asked your doctor about taking something to get a period?  Like provera?  Have you had your blood tested to get your HCG levels?
