Last night at work, out of no where i felt alot of fluid coming out. Im only 13 weeks pregnant and this fluid soaked through my pants and i felt it coming out vaginaly.I went to the bathroom and it was a purply brown water that was still dripping out. I called my doctor this morning and he said that a few things here and there wernt good signs but just to be hopeful for my pregnancy and hell see me at my appt in a week.  Mind you i also told i had a bad pain in my lower stomach before this and the past week or so ive been having a brownish discharge.( he said this was also not great and was usally a sign of old blood..What is happening and hes going to make me wait a week to find out ...anyone?

How can a doctor tell you that? I would switch docs its his job to see you and check the baby out and you. I am sorry that you are worrying its not fair of him to make you wait a week. If you can switch docs or go to the ER hope everwith will turn out good for you

Find a new doctor- but n the mean time go 2 the ER; especially if u hav decent insurance)!! At the very least it will give u peace of mind if everything is okay; or possibly save ur unborn child; or (hopefully not) take care of the situation & u if it's not okay. Most importantly remember that everything is n God's hands no matter what! Recently I went through a miscarriage (I will pray that u not) but I now know that I can get pregnant again after being told I couldn't! I did not even know I was pregnant when it happened- it was a shock 2 both me & my husband.

I will pray 4 u, ur unborn baby, & ur family! God bless u & Happy New Year- no matter what ur religious beliefs!

I agree with ladies. My doctor would not let me wait a week. He would have rushed me in for an u/s. You should call and demand to get in asap. If not go to the hospital they can do everything in one day.
Good luck and keep us posted. Remeber try to relax stress is not good for the pregnancy.

I wholeheartedly agree with Heather-  Please take care of yourself and get in to be checked.  If your MD won't see you, it sounds to me like he's being a little lazy and not wanting to work on the holiday.

Please get checked out-  sending lots of good thoughts your way!  And keep us updated...

I don't know what is going on, but if your doctor won't see you I would go to the ER if I were you.  At least you would get answers right away and wouldn't have to wait a week.  I am 9 weeks along and I know if something similar happend to me, even the spotting my doctor would rush me in for an ultrasound.  They should not have you waiting. Hope everything turns out OK.
