Miscarriage/Methotrexate Shot

Hello. I had a miscarriage on September 8, 2008. I bled pretty much that whole week, and then just spotted over the weekend of the 13th-14th, and then that was it. I went on to see doctor on Sept. 16th and my hcg levels were still present (sitting at 91, very low). She thought I could have had an ectopic pregnancy and suggested the methotrexate shot. I took the shot on Sept. 17th and am really hoping my levels return to normal soon. I guess my question(s) are: One, I have not bled since having this shot, no cramps to speak of, and am actually feeling pretty good, so should I bleed since having this shot? Two, when will I get my period again? Three, can we try to conceive again after 2 cycles? Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Cheryl

that seems pretty normal. from what i remember that is what mine was like. you will still need to go and get you hcg levels tested to make sure that they are going down.

Okay, I had my metho shot last Wednesday, Sept. 17th and it just feels like today I am cramping a little bit and having very, very light brown spotting (only when I wipe). Is this normal? Can I start bleeding almost a week later? I am just so confused, I just want this to be over so in a few months we can start trying again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i had the shot back in april-may when i lost my 4th pregnancy. i was very sick when i had it, but they gave me two rounds of it that day. i never bled, but my levels did go down. i started ttc again in july and we still havent gotten pregnant again yet. i think i got my period about 5 weeks after the shot.
